Hedgepoint Group seeks a Senior System Analyst in São Paulo to align business requirements with IT, drive system projects, and ensure on-time delivery. You will translate workflows into technical specs, mentor peers, and manage multiple initiatives in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires strong experience in system analysis within financial contexts, English fluency, and a proven ability to coordinate across stakeholders and IT teams.

Competenze

• BSc or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Processing, Administration, Economics, or related areas.
• Experience in System Analysis and managing system projects.
• English required; Spanish preferred.
• Excel and PowerPoint; VBA; Jira/Confluence; risk management knowledge.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior System Analyst, you will be responsible for aligning requirements between business areas and the IT department, covering projects and enhancements on the current systems under IT management. You will understand the problems and opportunities of our business and recommend solutions that add value to internal users and customers. You will be responsible for designing requirements, defining and prioritizing projects, conducting and managing them, and testing, proposing and validating the solutions developed by the IT team.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Assess and identify any business flow bottleneck. Propose solutions for them through process and or system improvements
• Ensure projects/solutions are initiated according to their priority
• Map and document all requirements. Analyze and synthesize business requirements properly (workflows, use cases, scope matrix, UAT plan…)
• Identify the project’s synergies and interdependencies
• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members, collaborating with peers and clearly articulating ideas and points of view.
• Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results.
• Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones;
• Manage projects: Create and maintain project schedules by developing roadmaps and specifications, estimating time/effort and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues and bugs that impact project progress, raise attention points, coordinate actions and solve conflicts;
• Serve as a bridge between Business areas and IT to gather business requirements needed for system implementations, “translate” them to and IT/System language, follow-up the development and execute the tests/QA process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education (Degree / Area)

• BSc or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Processing, Administration, Economics, or related areas.

Technical Skills

Essential:

• System Analysis
• Advanced Exceland Power Point
• Previous experience in Financial Area
• Experience in managing system projects
• Agile Project Methodology

Preferred:

• Financial Instruments and Derivatives (Basic)
• Knowledge in the risk management
• VBA
• Project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
• Jira/Confluence
