A leading company in materials science is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist in São Paulo. This role involves planning and monitoring production schedules, managing inventory, and collaborating with various teams to ensure supply chain efficiency. Dow has an opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist located in São Paulo – SP (BRA) this professional will decide what, when and where to supply for multiple production sites or multiple plants at one site, within a single business or multiple smaller businesses. Balances supply and demand over the operational horizon, to achieve optimum product availability, asset utilization and supply chain efficiencies . Requires broadened conceptual and working knowledge and experience in job discipline to perform a range of work assignments. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
Create and monitor Production plan schedule in OMP+/ECC based on the consensus numbers to bulk and packaged materials;
Control inventories levels vs target, slow moving and aged
Guarantee ECC system set-up and accuracy (master data, STOs, Pos) align with operating strategy;
Plan raw material availability to produce and control variations;
Work close to production plant in order to monitor daily production confirmation and ECC inventory accuracy;
Scheduling import material to Argentina, Colombia and Mexico.
Inform CSRs, Commercial and others in case of non-conformance of: ATP, resourcing quality issues, availability issue, previously align with Business Planner and Product;

Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short-term , while considering plant wide constraints, and meeting inventory and customer service targets;
Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules;
Implements external manufacturing agreements or execute agreements already in place;
Owns and operates site or regional planning models (provides functional expertise for model operation; assures most efficient use of information technology );
Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for integration of internal demand, utilities or environmental operations at a particular location;
Routinely checks and tracks inventory quantity, slow-moving or other inventory statuses and ensure that inventory volumes meet the plan;
Identifies , prioritizes and addresses supply issues ( e.g. short-term capacity constraints, product shortage, emergency customer order received, uncovered production requirement, etc. );
Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics , third-party service providers and business partners to meet business obligations in case of unplanned events;
Ensures proper maintenance of production parameters (material masters, work centers, routings ) to ensure effective planning;
Follows best practices, procedures and governance over master data;
Supports global supply chain initiatives by interfacing with other supply chain personnel in the business and shared services.
Responsible for local logistics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Engineering.
Intermediate in English language skills.
Advanced in Spanish language skills.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Planning Process, warehouse management and/or foreign trade.
Resiliency: Must have resilience to handle day-to-day activities in a high-pressure environment and understand their responsibility in the position. Flexibility to adapt to changes.
Teamwork: This person will be in a collaborative environment and needs to have healthy competitiveness.
Proactive Approach: Important for the position to deal with clients who have an impact on the company. Must be able to navigate the process end-to-end and ensure the client is served.
Client Facing: Must have communication skills and negotiation skills.
