Qualificações

• Minimum 8+ years in client coverage, Oil & Gas or energy finance with structured financing expertise in Brazil.
• Strong financial analysis, transaction structuring, and documentation review skills.
• Experience developing innovative financing solutions across a broad set of instruments.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese; comfortable in a regional/global environment.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related field preferred.

Join Macquarie’s São Paulo Commodities Desk as a Senior Structured Finance Marketer / Originator, where you will play a strategic role in expanding our Oil and Gas financing and structured credit portfolio across Brazil and Latin America. What role will you play?

In this senior position, you will drive the origination, structuring, and execution of complex financing transactions, including reserve-based lending, prepayment and pre-export financings, structured credit facilities, inventory and receivables-backed solutions, working capital financings, and securitizations. You will work closely with trading, sales, legal, and senior leadership teams to identify opportunities and execute transactions end-to-end.

Candidates should bring a strong technical background in structured finance, energy finance, lending, or investments, with demonstrated expertise in client origination, financial analysis, transaction structuring, documentation review supported by legal experts, and the development of innovative, non-traditional financing solutions. The successful candidate will have a commercial mindset and the ability to navigate sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional transactions while delivering tailored financing solutions that support client objectives.

This role offers a highly visible platform, significant client interaction, and potential for accelerated advancement into broader senior marketing, origination, financing, or trading-aligned leadership positions across Macquarie’s international offices.

What You Offer

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in client coverage, Oil and Gas or energy finance, tailored structured finance solutions, and complex financing transactions, with a strong focus on the Brazilian market
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, transaction structuring, documentation, negotiation, and execution of complex debt or structured transactions
• Experience developing innovative financing solutions utilizing a broad range of financial instruments
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, energy value chains, and structured financing methodologies
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, with strong knowledge of regulatory and market environments in Brazil
• Degree in a quantitative or finance-related discipline (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields preferred)
• Availability to travel regionally in Brazil and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced global commodities environment
• Previous usage of AI in working environments
