Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive scalable, secure, and resilient software architectures in a cloud-native environment. You will define target architectures, roadmaps and reference patterns, while guiding teams through ADRs and governance processes.

The role requires deep knowledge of distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design, TDD/BDD and data mesh concepts, with a strong emphasis on observability, security and ongoing modernization.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in designing, developing and evolving scalable, resilient, business-oriented software solutions.
• Experience with Cloud Native architecture, including containers, microservices, APIs, serverless computing and distributed platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Secure by Design, covering information security, application security, authentication, authorization, encryption, certificate management and data protection.
• Mastery of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, the 12-Factor App methodology, Clean Architecture and development focused on maintainability and scalability.
• Strong background in Software Engineering and Quality, with emphasis on automation, testing, observability, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Deep knowledge of Design Patterns, architectural patterns and best practices for building distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including modeling, performance optimization, scalability and data governance.
• Experience defining and implementing integration patterns, including RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous integration.
• Knowledge of messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS and EventBridge, as well as distributed cache solutions like Redis and Memcached.
• Experience applying methodologies and practices such as DDD (Domain-Driven Design), TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, availability, scalability, performance and resilience strategies, using metrics, logs, distributed traces and defining SLOs/SLAs.
• Experience implementing modern data architectures, including Data Mesh concepts, federated governance, data products and domain-oriented architecture.
• Ability to evaluate architectural and technological trade-offs, balancing business requirements, cost, security, performance and solution sustainability.
• Experience defining corporate standards and reference architectures, promoting technical alignment and continuous evolution of the technology ecosystem.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure that solutions align with business needs and the integration strategy with corporate systems.
• Participate in Discovery and Inception processes, preparing technical specifications and supporting the definition of requirements and solution architecture.
• Identify, propose and design simple, scalable solutions focused on delivering value to customers and the business.
• Lead or support architectural decisions by preparing ADRs (Architecture Decision Records) and participating in governance and architecture review forums (ARB).
• Define the Target Architecture and the Technical Roadmap, ensuring sustainable evolution of platforms and products.
• Develop, maintain and disseminate reference architectures, patterns and best practices that guide the development and evolution of solutions.
• Define monitoring, observability and reliability strategies, ensuring operational visibility and supporting data-driven decision making.
• Evaluate, prioritize and manage technical debt, considering cost, risk, schedule and business value impacts.
• Analyze the technical and strategic feasibility of adopting new technologies, frameworks and platforms.
• Present technical proposals and solutions to business and technology stakeholders, translating complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Conduct technical investigations, Proofs of Value (PoV) and Proofs of Concept (PoC) to validate hypotheses, reduce risks and support strategic decisions.
• Act as a technical reference, promoting best practices in architecture, software engineering, security, scalability and solution resilience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the continuous evolution of the corporate architecture and adherence to established standards.
