THE WORK

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, modular systems that reduce technical debt and support future use cases
• Maintain clean, well-documented code standards and conduct thorough peer reviews
• Identify opportunities to create reusable components, libraries, and tools to boost team productivity
• Lead feature development from planning through deployment, ensuring compliance with SLAs and sprint objectives
• Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks in rendering, API calls, and state management
• Collaborate with back-end engineers, designers, and product managers to refine requirements and deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical workshops

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 4+ years of front-end software development experience
• Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Optional familiarity with Ruby, beneficial for full-stack or Ruby on Rails work
• Strong understanding of architectural best practices, including modular design, loose coupling, and reusable components
• Proven mentorship skills, ability to influence technical decisions, and experience in scaling frameworks
• Experience with test-driven development (unit, integration, performance) and security-focused coding
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple deadlines
