Senior Project Manager - Homebased - Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Peru

As a Senior Project Manager in ICON’s Language Services department, you will lead complex translation and localization projects for pharmaceutical and clinical clients, ensuring seamless execution, high quality, and regulatory compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will manage client relationships, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in mentoring others, solving complex challenges, and contributing to strategic initiatives that support the growth and integration of ICON’s Language Services.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values centered around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance.
• Contribute to our culture of process improvement by streamlining processes, adding value, and meeting client needs.
• Stay informed about pharma/biotech/medical device trends and evolving client expectations.
• Manage complex, high-value translation and localization projects from start to finish.
• Serve as the primary client partner, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and providing strategic guidance.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Life Sciences translation and localization, advising clients and internal teams.
• Ensure project quality, timelines, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Monitor and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve processes and scalability.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure aligned service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Guide clients on best practices, regulatory considerations, and tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead quality investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support development of new service offerings and operational innovations.
• Assist in budgeting, quoting, and pricing strategies.
• Present project insights and feedback to leadership.
• Promote a culture of excellence within the project management team.
• Mentor and train junior staff, encouraging professional development.
• Continuously expand industry knowledge and skills.
• Support leadership with resource planning and departmental performance evaluation.

Your Profile:

• 5+ years of project management experience in translation, localization, or language services.
• Expertise in Life Sciences translation projects (pharmaceutical, medical device, clinical, biotech).
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with CAT tools, translation management systems, and project tracking software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other document formats.
