Senior Project Manager - Homebased - Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Peru

As a Senior Project Manager in ICON’s Language Services department, you will lead complex translation and localization projects for pharmaceutical and clinical clients, ensuring seamless execution, high quality, and regulatory compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will manage client relationships, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in mentoring others, solving complex challenges, and contributing to strategic initiatives that support the growth and integration of ICON’s Language Services.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values centered around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance.
2. Contribute to our culture of process improvement by streamlining workflows, adding value, and meeting client needs.
3. Stay informed about pharma/biotech/medical device trends and evolving client expectations.
4. Manage complex, high-value translation and localization projects from start to finish.
5. Act as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and strategic guidance.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert in Life Sciences translation and localization, advising clients and internal teams.
7. Take full accountability for project quality, timelines, financials, and client satisfaction.
8. Monitor project risks and develop mitigation plans for successful outcomes.
9. Identify workflow inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline and automate processes.
10. Collaborate across teams to ensure aligned service delivery and continuous improvement.
11. Guide clients on best practices, regulatory considerations, and tailored solutions.
12. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
13. Lead quality investigations and implement corrective actions.
14. Contribute to developing new services and operational innovations.
15. Support budgeting, quoting, and pricing to ensure profitability.
16. Present project insights and feedback to senior leadership.
17. Promote a culture of excellence and continuous process improvement.
18. Mentor and train junior staff, encouraging professional growth.
19. Continuously expand industry knowledge and expertise.
20. Support resource planning and strategic initiatives at the departmental level.

Your Profile:

• 5+ years of project management experience in translation, localization, or language services.
• Expertise in Life Sciences translation projects (pharmaceutical, medical device, clinical, biotech).
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency with CAT tools, translation management systems, and project tracking software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other document formats (e.g., PDFs, XML, PowerPoint).
