Sovos in Brazil is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multinational implementation projects from inception to closure, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.

You will coordinate cross-border teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and apply both waterfall and agile methods to deliver value for global enterprises. Excellent communication and AI-enabled workflow experience are a plus.

Qualificações

• Delivered enterprise software or professional services projects.

The Role

At Sovos, we're solving the complexities of global tax compliance for thousands of companies around the world. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead the full lifecycle of multinational implementation projects, ensuring they deliver on time, on budget, and with the quality our clients expect. You'll be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, orchestrating resources across borders and driving critical outcomes for global enterprises.

More Specifically, You Will

• Manage the complete lifecycle of global and multinational projects from initiation through closure, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, timelines, and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment across regions.
• Provide regularly scheduled updates to internal and external stakeholders, hold weekly project meetings, and manage expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Proactively manage change control using appropriate verification techniques, communicate impacts to scope and schedule, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for project-related risks and issues, making confident decisions that impact outcomes and navigating complex situations.
• Manage and approve all billable time and expenses for your projects, ensuring accurate tracking against budget.
• Leverage AI tools and project management solutions to create comprehensive documentation, track progress, and optimize workflows across your portfolio.
  
  

What You Bring to Sovos

• You've successfully delivered enterprise software or professional services projects in software or professional services environments, ideally working with enterprise-level clients.
• You've successfully led multi-country or multi-region projects and understand the nuances of coordinating across borders and time zones.
• You're fluent in both waterfall and agile project management techniques and can adapt your approach based on project needs.
• You have a history of delivering projects of delivering projects on time and on budget while managing multiple assignments concurrently.
• You bring excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong customer service orientation, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• You're proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, OpenAir, or comparable PSA solutions.
• You're comfortable with AI-assisted workflows and leveraging technology (cloud platforms, collaboration tools, smartphones) to optimize project delivery.
• Fluent in English.
