We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to come and join our team in Brazil.
You will be responsible for planning and managing the team to carry out all activities in the areas of logistics, receiving, shipping, inventory control, product storage and distribution with customers, optimizing processes in order to optimize costs and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role

• Preparation and implementation of operational planning for the Business Unit through the management of multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote business sustainability in the medium and long term and in line with corporate guidelines in terms of results and innovation.
• Plans, coordinates and supervises all processes related to Logistics, Maintenance and Purchasing/Procurement.
• Coordinates and supervises the processes related to Licenses, Permits, Certificates, in accordance with legal and organizational requirements (QRA).
• Keeps constant and close relationship with the commercial area, aiming to guarantee that the controlled products meet the legal requirements both in terms of commercialization and storage and internal controls.
• Ensure the safety and security of the operation, observing the correct use of PPE, equipment and tools used by employees, requesting their maintenance when necessary. Regularly review any security provisions required to maintain adherence to any risks regulations. Proactively take actions and/escalate any security risks or concerns as required.
• Requesting material, training subordinates, participating in the personnel movement process (selection, transfers, promotions and dismissals) and takes care of order, cleanliness and discipline in the area aiming at its good performance and its contribution to the company's results.
• Plans and monitors the operating costs of the areas under its supervision, ensuring the maintenance of costs and seeking savings to optimize the result.
• Prepare monthly maps and various demonstration tables on the performance of the area, for control and appreciation of the superior and demonstrations at results meetings.
• Responsible for Inventory Management including organization of the annual physical inventory of the stock of products, following the count of items in stock, comparing the balances with the documentary records, for control and calculation of accounting results.
  

You

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in logistics operations.
• At least 2 years of proven experience leading and managing teams.
• Skilled in fostering cross-functional relationships and driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with integrated business management systems (ERP) is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation with a solution-driven mindset.
• Confident decision-maker with a critical, analytical approach to challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at planning, prioritizing, and monitoring tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit.
• Fluent in English
