The Community You Will Join

Our Field Sales Team is expanding, and we want you to be part of it! As a Senior Market Manager, you will drive the growth and health of our supply in Brazil by managing professional host accounts and acquiring high-quality inventory. Your role focuses on strengthening Airbnb's market presence through collaboration, local expertise, and alignment with our mission and values.

The Difference You Will Make

You will oversee the supply health of key Airbnb markets in Brazil, ensuring a strong presence of high-quality listings. Your role is crucial in expanding our host network, optimizing supply, and driving market growth.

A Typical Day

  1. Build, manage, and grow partner relationships within your territory to exceed quarterly sales targets across 100+ Professional Host accounts.
  2. Conduct optimization calls and business reviews to strengthen partnerships, providing support, including in-person meetings as needed.
  3. Develop strategies to manage and optimize thousands of professional hosts in your region.
  4. Prospect and onboard new high-quality supply in your assigned geography.
  5. Educate clients on product updates and relay feedback internally.
  6. Leverage data to identify growth opportunities, navigate operational complexities, and allocate resources efficiently.
  7. Implement innovative engagement projects using an entrepreneurial approach.
  8. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support teams.
  9. Analyze local market trends to inform stakeholders.
  10. Support technical partnerships for a seamless host and guest experience.
  11. Represent Airbnb in external meetings and industry conferences.
  12. Contribute to host community programs to promote growth and engagement.

Your Expertise

  • 10+ years in account management and partner support, with a proven ability to grow business relationships.
  • Success in managing a leads pipeline and a book of business.
  • Strong quantitative skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work strategically and tactically in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • 2+ years in the tech/travel industry is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within Brazil and internationally, based in São Paulo.
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy; being an Airbnb host is a plus.
