This Senior Java Backend Engineer role focuses on building robust, secure connectors and data pipelines across external systems, with emphasis on multi-tenant architectures and OAuth security.

Competenze

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Deep experience with API and systems integration (REST, webhooks, event-driven).
• Experience with OAuth and multi-tenant permissioning/auth flows.
• Background with ETL and data pipelines (connectors, parsers, schema normalization).
• Experience integrating with platforms such as M365, Outlook, Teams, Slack, or iManage.
• QA, contract testing, and connector reliability (versioning, regression).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Senior Java Backend Engineer – Integrations at BairesDev

In this role, you'll write backend Java services that power integrations with external systems, applying strong API design and event-driven synchronization patterns. Handling OAuth and multi-tenant permissioning, you'll build the authentication and authorization logic that keeps connectors secure across many tenants. This is your opportunity to apply deep Java backend expertise to integration-heavy systems, solving the reliability and versioning challenges unique to connecting a platform with many external services.

What You'll Do:

What we are looking for:
