Lenovo Brasil is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to oversee RD budgeting, forecasting, and compliance under the Brazilian Informatics Law. The role partners with the RD team to analyze project expenses and report results to management.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in FPA, project financial control, and accounting, with advanced Excel and fluent English. Hybrid work: 3 days on-site in São Paulo and 2 days remote.

Qualificações

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and English (written and spoken).
• Experience in FPA, project financial control, and accounting (minimum 4 years).
• Knowledge of Brazilian Informatics Law and experience in tax/accounting is a plus.

• Analyze sales reports to track RD obligations and present actual vs budget results to management.
• Oversee project accounting, including journal entries, provisions control, and accounting analysis of expenses.

Overall Description: The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with RD (Research Development) obligations under the Brazilian Informatics Law.

• Responsible for planning and controlling RD (Research Development) expenses in line with the established budget and government requirements.
• Provide financial support to the RD team, including analysis of project-related expenses.
• Monitor expenses against the annual budget to ensure cost control and avoid overspending.
• Prepare and share financial reports with the RD team to highlight potential risks related to budget or regulatory compliance.
• Analyze sales reports to calculate and track RD obligations.
• Present financial results (actual vs. budget) for projects, as well as closing reports to management and the finance leadership team.
• Oversee project accounting, including journal entries, provisions control, and accounting analysis of expenses.
• Advanced students or graduates in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields, with at least 4 years of experience in FPA, project financial control, and accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and English (both written and spoken); the role requires active participation in meetings conducted in English.
• Knowledge of the Brazilian Informatics Law and experience in tax/accounting areas are a plus, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
