Job summary

STAFFKING PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer to oversee engineering design inception through to completion on large-scale construction projects. You will manage manpower, materials, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with regulations and project specs while coordinating with site personnel and stakeholders.

The role requires strong knowledge of M&E systems and safety standards, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee M&E projects from engineering design inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with building regulations, technical requirements, and project specifications.
• Manage project manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate closely with site personnel, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
• Attend project and site meetings, monitor site progress, and coordinate daily site activities.
• Conduct engineering and technical assessments, identify variation works, and prepare accurate cost evaluations and submissions.
• Plan, schedule, supervise, and monitor subcontractors to ensure work is carried out accurately, safely, and within the stipulated project timeline, in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.
• Manage M&E contract documentation, project records, and relevant technical submissions.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to support project requirements and resolve operational issues.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with a main contractor in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of various M&E systems, including piping and cabling installations, particularly in factory and semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, with knowledge of general construction M&E works and design, will be an advantage.
• Possession of relevant safety and work certifications, such as CSCPM and Work at Height (WAH), will be an advantage.
