Jobtailor in Porto Alegre, Brazil, seeks a data analyst to support business teams with diagnostics, analyses and actionable insights. You will build dashboards using Power BI, develop data pipelines with engineers, and collaborate across the data pipeline to deliver sustainable data solutions.

The role requires strong SQL/Python, data storytelling, and experience with Databricks or Lake House environments, plus excellent communication and adaptability in a dynamic business context.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python.
• Storytelling skills and proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI for dashboard creation.
• Essential: knowledge and ability to develop exploratory studies and analyses.
• Building queries for relational and non-relational databases.
• Data modeling and performance optimization.
• Solid experience with the Databricks platform (or equivalent Lake House environment).
• Strategic, systemic and analytical thinking to identify data-driven improvement opportunities.
• Communication skills.
• Resilience and adaptability to face complex business challenges.
• Good practices in data analytics, data engineering and data science.
• Data governance and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and support business teams in conducting studies/analyses: diagnostics and strategic studies; measurement of results; identification of opportunities to leverage the business; actionable insights to aid decision-making; analysis of trends and patterns.
• Monitor the product development process, from conception through tracking production results (Upstream and Downstream).
• Build data foundations: create tables and expressions in SQL and/or Python.
• Report development: construct dashboards with the organization’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop new indicators and business views.
• Support the definition of data pipelines together with data engineers, aiming for process efficiency and sustainable data solutions in the long term.
• Interact and communicate with the different roles in the data pipeline (engineers, other analysts, data scientists and business analysts) to promote collaboration, team cohesion and synergy.
• Maintain continuous technical and business development.
