We are seeking an experienced professional to drive strategic partnerships and sales with AAA studios and enterprise clients. This remote-friendly role is based in Recife (Brazil) or Lisbon (Portugal), emphasizing proximity to key industry players for collaboration. The role involves owning relationships, leading negotiations, and shaping growth strategies through high-value partnerships, without team management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and expand Kokku’s presence through trusted relationships with AAA developers, publishers, and platform holders.
- Identify and pursue long-term partnership opportunities with enterprise clients in the gaming and interactive entertainment industries.
- Lead strategic pitches and negotiations, managing deals from prospecting to closure.
- Represent Kokku at major industry events such as GDC, DICE, and Gamescom.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop market-specific business strategies.
- Maintain a pipeline of high-value opportunities aligned with Kokku’s capabilities.
- Provide market and partner intelligence to inform internal strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements:
- Based in Recife (Brazil) or Lisbon (Portugal), or willing to relocate.
- 6+ years of business development experience in the gaming or entertainment industry, focusing on AAA or enterprise clients.
- Proven success in closing complex, high-value partnerships.
- Deep understanding of the AAA development and publishing landscape.
- Strong network within the gaming industry across business and creative leadership roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with an executive presence.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings and industry events.
- Strategic mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with co-development, art outsourcing, or live service partnerships.
- Knowledge of development pipelines and publisher-developer dynamics.
- Familiarity with contracts and service agreements for external development.
