• Prepare and present financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Accounts Payable & Billing

• Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.

General Ledger & Reconciliation

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions

Audit & Internal Controls

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.

Software Proficiency

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and Power Pivot for data analysis.
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools and software.

Language Skills

• Fluency in English, with proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish being advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
