Key Responsibilities

1. Management of Accounting Operations: Supervise daily accounting activities, manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, manage fixed assets, ensure GAAP compliance, participate in closing processes, and maintain accurate records.
2. Preparation of Financial Reports: Prepare financial statements, analyze variances, and support audit processes.
3. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, stay updated on tax regulations, and collaborate with tax advisors.
4. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls, propose process improvements, and ensure policy compliance.
5. Team Leadership and Support: Supervise and mentor team members, foster collaboration, and participate in training.
6. Other Tasks: Collaborate across departments, participate in projects, and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent degree
• Experience in medium/large companies, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Experience in financial statement preparation and accounting close
• Knowledge of Argentinian tax regulations
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills
• Leadership and proactive problem-solving abilities
