Big Dutchman is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Germany. You will execute and review accounting entries, manage accruals and reclassifications, and support monthly and annual closes to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least five years of experience in industrial or manufacturing settings, and, preferably, fluency in English and Spanish to support our global operations and audits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed).
• Preferred: English and Spanish.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing companies.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and review accounting entries including accruals, allocations, and reclassifications.
• Perform analyses, reconciliations, and validations of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Lead the monthly and annual close, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy of deliverables.
• Monitor and interpret changes in accounting and tax legislation, assessing impacts and supporting required adjustments.
• Provide support to internal areas (Tax, Controlling, FP&A, Audit) in technical discussions and in understanding the accounting impacts of operations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation, ensuring traceability, compliance, and support for internal/external audits.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of accounting records with applicable standards and current legislation.
• Propose and implement process and internal control improvements, aiming for efficiency, risk reduction, and standardization.
