EPAM Systems in Brazil seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP EWM and logistics process expertise. You will design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP developments, enhancements, and CRs within SAP EWM and core logistics modules.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong process understanding in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• Advanced SAP ABAP skills (ABAP Objects, OO principles, Performance Tuning, SQL optimization).
• Experience with enhancement frameworks (BADIs, Enhancement Spots, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements).
• Integration experience (IDocs, ALE, APIs, OData, Web Services).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP developments and change requests within SAP EWM and core logistics modules.
• Implement ABAP customizations and enhancements using ABAP Objects and BADIs.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical specifications and ABAP code.
• Perform root-cause analysis, debugging, and performance optimization for high-volume logistics transactions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and QA teams for unit/integration testing and documentation.
• Work with SAP functional consultants and architects in an Agile/Scrum environment.

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a strong background in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and deep logistics process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Change Request Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP developments and change requests (CRs) within SAP EWM and core logistics modules
• SAP EWM Customization & Enhancements: Implement complex technical solutions using ABAP Objects, BADIs, user exits, enhancement spots, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Fiori/UI5 (where applicable)
• Process Alignment: Translate business requirements from logistics and warehouse management stakeholders into robust technical specifications and efficient ABAP code
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Perform root-cause analysis, debug existing EWM programs, and optimize performance for high-volume logistics transactions
• Testing & Documentation: Collaborate with functional consultants and QA teams to execute unit/integration testing and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional consultants, system architects, and business analysts in an Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development
• Domain Expertise: Proven hands-on experience and strong process understanding in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) — including RF Framework, warehouse task creation, inbound/outbound delivery processing, and storage control
• Advanced SAP ABAP skills (ABAP Objects, OO principles, Performance Tuning, SQL optimization)
• Experience with enhancement frameworks (BADIs, Enhancement Spots, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)
• Integration experience (IDocs, ALE, APIs, OData, Web Services)
