Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an SAP Technical Project Lead in Brazil to drive implementation, migration, and customer onboarding projects. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will lead Greenfield and Brownfield migrations, coordinate releases and go-live activities, and serve as the main contact for customers, partners, and internal teams.

SAP Technical Project Lead

Required Skills

• Advanced/Fluent English – strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Knowledge of and experience with SAP ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services).
• Experience with migrations and system updates.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate implementation, migration, and customer onboarding projects, ensuring effective planning, cross-team integration, risk management, and successful delivery throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Lead customer onboarding and migration projects for both Greenfield and Brownfield environments.
• Manage complex projects, including planning, Disaster Recovery implementation, and Go-Live activities.
• Coordinate releases, patches, migrations, cutovers, and deployments in production environments.
• Manage escalations and resolve critical issues throughout different project phases.
• Coordinate activities between customers, technical teams, consulting partners, and internal stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact and customer representative.
• Manage the handover process between Sales and Delivery, ensuring all technical requirements and prerequisites are properly captured and transferred.
• Coordinate the implementation of network connectivity between customers and the HEC environment.
• Oversee infrastructure requirements and environment build activities in collaboration with the Build Factory team.
• Plan and coordinate SAP ECS build activities.
• Coordinate migration and Go-Live activities for Brownfield projects.
• Facilitate regular meetings with customers, consulting partners, and technical teams to review status, risks, open issues, and next steps.
• Monitor project milestones, entry and exit criteria, and project checkpoints to ensure process compliance prior to deployments.
• Support the coordination of PCE customers and integration with GSSP and ECD organizations.
• Assist with Business Go-Live activities and ensure a smooth transition to operations.
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and weekly status reports, ensuring visibility and follow-up of decisions, action items, and outstanding issues.
