Hydro, a global leader in aluminium and renewable energy, is seeking an experienced SAP specialist in Brazil (São Paulo) to join our team. You will provide expert SAP guidance, manage incidents, and drive system enhancements across PP and QM modules, with MES integration experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP experience in ECC6/S4HANA, hands-on application management.
• Senior SAP with PP and QM modules and a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
• Experience across materials management, procurement, inventory, logistics, finance and controlling is a plus.
• Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills with SAP issue troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating SAP with MES and other business systems.

• Perform SAP analysis, design and enhancements to meet business requirements, including interfaces and integration points.

• Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations and processes, with emphasis on manufacturing integration.

What you will be doing

• Provide expert guidance in SAP solutions, focusing on support and maintenance, taking ownership of ticket resolution and troubleshooting complex issues efficiently;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users and third-party vendors to resolve SAP-related incidents, problems and change requests;
• Perform system analysis, design and enhancements to meet business requirements, including diverse interfaces and integration points;
• Conduct regular system audits and implement preventive measures to enhance system stability and optimize business operations using SAP best practices;
• Lead SAP system upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting and maintaining the clean core initiative;
• Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes and procedures, with emphasis on manufacturing processes and integration points.

What will make you successful?

Education

• IT/ Business Degree or Equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a comparable role within SAP (ECC6 / S4 Hana) with hands‑on application management;
• Proven track record of extensive and senior‑level experience in SAP, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of PP and QM modules, with a history of delivering high‑impact solutions in a senior capacity;
• Strong candidates will have knowledge and experience with three or more of the following SAP areas: materials management, procurement, inventory warehouse management, sales operations, logistics, finance and controlling;
• Strong continuous improvement, problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues;
• Integration experience integrating SAP with different business systems, especially MES systems, as well as experience working with integration tools;
• Experience in a discrete manufacturing and/or automotive environment is preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams;
• Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes related to the business application(s) concerned;
• Understanding of the technical environment of the business application(s) concerned;
• Advanced English (verbal and written);
• Knowledge of basic project management and change management procedures within IT.
