Nouryon is seeking an SAP Finance Application Specialist to join our finance domain in Brazil. The role focuses on SAP FICO, incident/change management, and delivering solutions aligned with our global and regional tax and finance processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP FICO experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions. This permanent position offers growth in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of expertise in Brazilian and international taxation.
• Deep knowledge of Brazil local tax regulations (Tax Reform, Nota Fiscal, Vertex).
• Hands-on SAP FICO project experience.
• Strong knowledge of Controlling, Project System, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis.
• Experience with SAP FICO module integration (SD/MM) and P2P processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports Incident and Change management around SAP Finance applications.
• Provides solutions compatible with existing architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.
• Ensures quality and consistency with functional templates for deployments.
• Monitors market to gain knowledge of emerging SAP technologies.
• Builds relationships with functional, commercial and plant controllers and acts as trusted advisor.
• Participates in SAP FICO projects and integrations with other modules.

About the job

The SAP Specialist - Finance will be part of the Finance domain. He/she will report into the Delivery manager - Finance within the IM - AMS Finance department and work closely with the application managers and solution architects.

In your future role as “SAP Finance Application Specialist” you will

• Supports Incident and Change management around SAP Finance applications
• Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.
• Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.
• Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with functional, commercial and plant controllers (globally) and becomes a trusted advisor for business processes covered in own area of expertise.
• Participate in projects covering the SAP FICO domain including integration with other SAP modules and applications.

• Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, technology platforms and business domains with relevant experience in SAP FICO (Expertise area: international taxation, Controlling, Project System, Product Costing, Profitability analysis, Vertex, VIM, P2P process and Finance - Integration with other SD/ MM etc..).
• Hands-on experience in SAP FICO projects and programs.
• Experienced professional with 7–10 years of expertise in Brazilian and international taxation, including deep knowledge of Brazil’s local tax regulations (such as the Brazil Tax Reform, Nota Fiscal, and Vertex).
• Skilled in Controlling, Project System, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Strong background in Finance integration across SAP modules including SD and MM.etc.
