Jobtailor is seeking an SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) to guide project and operations teams with functional and technical SAP guidance across ECC and S/4HANA.

You will analyze SAP requests from integrations and enhancements, manage change windows and transports, and coordinate cross‑functional teams and vendors in a global environment.

Advanced English is required; experience with MM, SD, FI, CO, and SAP integrations, IDsoc, APIs, and ServiceNow ticketing will be highly valued.

Qualificações

• Solid knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA with process-oriented perspective.
• Experience with SAP integrations (interfaces, IDoc, APIs, PI/PO, CPI) and end-to-end impacts.
• Experience with SAP change management (transports, windows, approvals) in governed environment with segregation of duties.
• Experience opening and tracking tickets (e.g., ServiceNow) and coordinating with multiple teams.
• Functional knowledge of the MM module.
• Advanced English for reading, writing, speaking; interact with global teams.
• Functional knowledge of SD, FI, CO or other relevant modules.
• Ability to read ABAP/debug output, logs, and dumps for incident analysis.
• Strong communication to align expectations with global teams and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SAP SME to guide project and operations teams with functional and technical advice.
• Analyze SAP requests and impacts from integrations, enhancements, and fixes, propose actions and priorities.
• Monitor change management flow: transports, change windows, approvals, change logs, traceability.
• Open and track tickets in ServiceNow or equivalent; coordinate with teams and monitor SLAs.
• Support assessment and planning for SAP Notes, upgrades, and configuration changes; assess impacts.
• Interact with development, integration, BASIS, and support teams to validate proposals and mitigate invasive changes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and business needs in a global environment.

• Act as the SAP subject matter expert (SME) to support project and operations teams, ensuring appropriate functional and technical guidance
• Analyze requests and impacts in SAP arising from integrations, enhancements, and fixes, proposing actions and prioritization
• Monitor and coordinate the change management flow, including transports, change windows, approvals, and change logs, ensuring traceability and adherence to process
• Open, document, and follow up on tickets in ServiceNow or an equivalent tool, engaging the correct teams and monitoring SLAs until closure
• Support the assessment and planning for application of SAP Notes, upgrades, and configuration adjustments, validating impacts and risks
• Interact with development, integration, BASIS, and support teams, both internal and vendor, validating proposals and mitigating invasive changes
• Ensure adherence to best practices and business needs in a global environment with specialized teams

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), with a process-oriented perspective and the ability to guide requests and decisions
• Experience with SAP integrations, including interfaces, IDoc, APIs, PI/PO, CPI or equivalents, and the ability to analyze end-to-end impacts
• Experience with SAP change management, including transports, change windows, approvals, and deployment follow-up, in a governed environment with segregation of duties
• Experience opening and tracking tickets (e.g., in ServiceNow), with the ability to describe technical requests and conduct follow-up with multiple teams
• Functional knowledge of the MM module
• Advanced English for reading, writing, and speaking; able to interact with global teams and work with English documentation
• Functional knowledge of modules such as SD, FI, CO, or other modules relevant to the environment
• Ability to read technical artifacts such as ABAP/debug output, logs, and dumps to support incident analysis
• Strong communication skills to align expectations and liaise with global teams and vendors
