Rio Hondo Subacute and Nursing Center seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead our nursing services team and partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional resident care.

The ADON will supervise staff, contribute to care plan development, provide training, and drive safety and quality initiatives across the facility, fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an approved RN program.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings.
• Experience as ADON or RN Manager preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in leading and supervising nursing services to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality care standards.
• Supporting the DON in developing and revising care plans and nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care is maintained.
• Providing training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies and best practices.
• Participating in the coordination of care and overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
• Promoting and maintaining a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility.

As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) , you will assist in leading and guiding our nursing services team to ensure the highest level of care for our residents. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and company policies. Your role will be instrumental in supporting best practices for the delivery of care and contributing to the development and revision of care objectives to guarantee optimal outcomes for all residents.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the leadership and supervision of nursing services and staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality care standards.
• Supporting the DON in developing and revising care plans and nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care is maintained.
• Providing training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies and best practices.
• Participating in the coordination of care and overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
• Promoting and maintaining a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility.

Must Have:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Graduation from an approved RN program
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Previous experience as an ADON, RN Manager

Nice to Have:

• 3-5 years of nursing supervisory experience in the provision of direct care to multiple residents
• Experience in Skilled Nursing environment
• Nursing degree from an accredited college
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
