RN Clinical Educator - Specialty Hospital

Position: RN Clinical Educator at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital

Job Summary: To ensure clinical staff has the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality, competent, and safe care to residents.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and deliver in-service programs based on clinical needs
• Evaluate educational content and methods
• Create orientation and mentorship programs for new and existing staff
• Maintain educational records and monitor compliance
• Collaborate with management to identify educational needs
• Participate in developing standards and policies for patient safety and quality care
• Oversee educational programs and documentation systems
• Conduct learning needs assessments and participate in nursing management activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred
• 2-4 years of clinical and teaching experience preferred
• Registered Nurse license required
• CPR, ACLS, and advanced nursing certification required

Additional Requirements:

• Recent ICU experience
• Support adherence to hospital policies and legal requirements
• Promote team effort and professional development
