E-Ployment Consultancy is seeking a laboratory scientist to conduct microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and molecular biology experiments focused on animal nutrition and health.  The role involves developing and validating methods, evaluating new ingredients, and presenting technical findings to cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Degree/Master with hands-on lab experience in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, molecular biology, and data analysis.
• Experience preferred in microbiology and analytical chemistry.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and molecular biology following established protocols.
• Perform microbiological testing, culture maintenance, cell culture assays, molecular analyses, and analytical chemistry evaluations.
• Support development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays.
• Evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies for animal nutrition and health applications.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, presentations, and documentation to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with scientists, project leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners on research and product development.
• Deliver quality data and complete assigned activities within agreed timelines.
• Follow laboratory safety, biosafety, chemical hygiene, EHS, GLP, SOPs, and company policies.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and workspace safely and compliant.

About the role

This role involves conducting laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and molecular biology following established protocols and scientific best practices. You will perform microbiological testing, microbial culture maintenance, cell culture assays, molecular biology analyses, and analytical chemistry evaluations, while supporting the development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays. You will evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies, and scientific concepts for animal nutrition and health applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and molecular biology following established protocols and scientific best practices

• Perform microbiological testing, microbial culture maintenance, cell culture assays, molecular biology analyses, and analytical chemistry evaluations

• Support the development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays

• Evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies, and scientific concepts for animal nutrition and health applications

• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods to support sound scientific conclusions

• Prepare technical reports, study summaries, presentations, and scientific documentation, including recommendations that support project objectives and decision-making

• Work closely with scientists, project leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to support research and product development initiatives

• Support project execution by delivering quality data and completing assigned activities within agreed timelines

• Follow laboratory safety, biosafety, chemical hygiene, EHS, GLP, SOPs, quality requirements, and applicable company policies

• Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and workspaces in a safe, organized, and compliant manner while contributing to continuous improvement and scientific excellence

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Master with 3-5 years of recent hands-on laboratory experience with practical exposure to microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, molecular biology, and statistical data analysis.

• Preferably with good experience in microbiology and analytical chemistry.

• Strong laboratory, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Passion for scientific research, continuous learning, and translating research outcomes into practical solutions for the animal nutrition and health industry.
