Institut Rosell-Lallemand Inc. is seeking a laboratory support role to aid with routine laboratory operations, quality control, and data recording. The position involves managing materials, supporting production tests, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role includes performing moisture and residue tests, calibrating equipment, and maintaining accurate records in spreadsheets to support traceability and product safety.

Responsabilidades

• Manage stock and expiration dates of laboratory materials with Warehouse, notify supervisor when purchases are needed.
• Assist in production tests for new products to validate production protocols.
• Document results of analyses and tests in systems or spreadsheets for traceability.
• Assist in moisture tests on process samples and final products, recording results in spreadsheets.
• Assist in calibration of laboratory equipment and register data in spreadsheets.
• Support basic maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate analyses.
• Prepare culture media following recipes in the culture media preparation folder.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards as part of QA processes.
• Assist in preparing general laboratory materials and instruments for use.
• Assist in analyzing samples from industrial processes, checking concentration, moisture, germination, contamination, and product quality.
• Assist in preparing inoculum for industrial-scale production under laminar flow per Work Instructions.
• Pour culture media into Petri dishes as required and follow QC standards.
• Execute QC procedures to ensure conformity with technical specs.
• Perform spraying, disintegration, suspensibility, and residue tests on final product, recording results.

Job Descripton:

Support laboratory routines and quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the company's quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Responsibilites:

1. Manage the stock and expiration dates of laboratory materials together with the Warehouse, notifying the immediate supervisor about the need to request purchases.
2. Assist in conducting production tests for new products to validate production protocols.
3. Document results of analyses and tests in systems or specific spreadsheets, ensuring proper recording and traceability of data.
4. Assist in performing moisture tests on process samples and final products according to the Work Instruction (WI), recording results in spreadsheets.
5. Assist in the calibration of laboratory equipment and register data in spreadsheets.
6. Support basic maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accuracy of analyses.
7. Prepare culture media to meet all laboratory demands, following recipes described in the culture media preparation folder.
8. Ensure product quality and compliance according to company standards and applicable regulations, contributing to the delivery of safe and effective products.
9. Assist in preparing general laboratory materials and instruments for use.
10. Assist in analyzing samples from industrial processes, verifying concentration, moisture, germination, contamination, and evaluating product quality according to company norms and procedures.
11. Assist in preparing inoculum for industrial-scale production: handle fungi and bacteria under laminar flow according to Work Instructions.
12. Pour culture media into Petri dishes according to testing demands, following quality control standards.
13. Execute quality control procedures following established company standards to ensure product conformity with technical specifications.
14. Perform spraying, disintegration, suspensibility, and residue tests on the final product, using techniques described in product manuals and Work Instructions, recording results in spreadsheets.
