Premium-Rich Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Construction Cost Engineer to support project cost control, estimation, and contract management for steel fabrication works.

You will review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, prepare BOQs and budgets, evaluate supplier quotes, manage variations, and coordinate QA/QC with design and project teams to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Review structural steel and metal works drawings, specifications, and designs to understand materials, steel grades, connections, and fabrication methods.
• Accurately measure steel sections, plates, bolts, and fittings, including wastage allowances.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets covering fabrication, transport, erection, labor, and overheads.
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotes, negotiate rates, manage variations, and ensure contracts comply with project scope.
• Track actual vs. estimated costs, manage progress claims, approve payments, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with QA/QC teams to verify materials and fabrication meet specifications, accounting for rework or non-conformance in costs.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts for management decision-making.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong communication and negotiation skills
