SUMMARY

Magentrix corporation is seeking a permanent Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will ensure the quality of the product meets standards before deployment to production servers. You should have a solid understanding of QA procedures and apply them effectively for each release.

NOTE: this role is remote, full-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the development team to deliver quality software to clients.
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports based on requirements.
• Review user requirement documents to ensure features are testable.
• Test the application thoroughly, including all edge cases, before release.
• Validate that user expectations are met during testing.
• Estimate the level of effort (LOE) for issues in the backlog before testing.
• Prepare clear, precise, multi-step test cases for each issue.
• Write Playwright test scripts and create automated test cases.
• Perform end-to-end testing, smoke testing, and regression testing as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience testing complex enterprise web applications.
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and procedures.
• Experience with Playwright is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Business Administration, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of QA processes, debugging, and software release cycles.
• Knowledge of sanity, smoke, and regression testing procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
• Ability to assess, evaluate, and estimate defects and tasks.
• Ability to write detailed, multi-step test cases.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of CRM software like Salesforce or MS Dynamics is a plus.
