QAT Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will design and execute test plans, build automated tests with Playwright, and apply AI-assisted tools to improve coverage and delivery in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and client stakeholders, test web applications and APIs, and help ensure the reliability of enterprise software across our nearshore operations in Brazil.

Qualificações

• Solid background in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software.
• Experience with Postman, API testing, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency, required for daily communication with international teams and clients.

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who combines strong testing fundamentals, Playwright automation expertise, and an AI-first mindset. In this role, you'll help ensure the quality of enterprise software solutions while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, increase coverage, and accelerate delivery. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and client stakeholders in an Agile environment focused on quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
• Leverage AI tools to assist with test creation, automation, defect analysis, and test optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Solid background in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software.
• Experience with Postman, API testing, and Agile methodologies.

• Advanced English proficiency, required for daily communication with international teams and clients.

Nice to Have

• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD experience.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications.
• Exposure to AI-enabled applications, LLMs, and intelligent automation.

Experience with AI-Assisted Testing

• Comfortable using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor to speed up test case creation and automation scripting.
• Able to use AI to analyze test failures, suggest root causes, and identify gaps in coverage.
• Interested in continuously exploring how AI can improve QA workflows and testing efficiency.
