We're hiring a Brazil-based QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain end-to-end coverage for a fast-moving client engagement. You'll work directly with client engineers and partner closely with the Lead QA Automation Engineer, earning trust by pairing, shipping, and keeping quality tied to real user behavior.
This role is built around an agentic QA workflow. You'll use Claude Code and Playwright MCP to inspect the live product, read tickets and existing coverage, plan quality risks, and write or repair Playwright tests in TypeScript. The job isn't about producing reports after the fact. It's about turning changes into reliable coverage, diagnosing failures clearly, and making sure tests fail when behavior actually breaks.
You'll also contribute to decision logs, maintain behavior-first test naming and assertions, and raise quality risks early instead of waiting for a final checkpoint.
We're looking for someone with around 4 years of QA automation experience, strong hands-on Playwright depth, fluency in TypeScript, and real AI-native workflow experience with tools like Claude Code. Experience with behavior-driven testing, AI-assisted test generation, and honest coverage is central to the role. Performance testing, accessibility testing, Jira, API testing, CI/CD, and regression testing are useful supporting skills.
