xFarm Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer to safeguard the quality of our digital farming tools used by thousands of farmers. You will own the full test lifecycle across web and mobile apps, driving test planning, execution and defect management with a data-driven approach.

Collaborating with designers, developers and product owners, you will define testable acceptance criteria, contribute to QA process improvements, and support automated testing initiatives using Testim and other modern tools

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing for web and mobile apps.
• Familiarity with testing standards (ISTQB) and structured test design techniques (equivalence, boundary values, decision tables, state transitions).
• Experience managing test cases, plans, runs and reporting in TestRail; strong defect tracking in Jira.

We are looking for a rigorous and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Engineering team and safeguard the quality of the products used by hundreds of thousands of farmers every day. You will work closely with the Tech Area Owner, Product Area Owner, designers and developers, owning the full test lifecycle across our web and mobile applications and helping the team ship with confidence at every release.

Your Mission

• Test Management and Reporting: Own the full test lifecycle in TestRail (repositories, plans, runs, milestones, coverage), keeping traceability between requirements, test cases and defects, and sharing quality metrics with the team;
• Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, document and prioritize defects with precise steps, evidence and severity, tracking them to closure in Jira and verifying fixes;
• Release Quality and Continuous Improvement: Provide an evidence-based quality opinion on release readiness and go/no-go decisions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices;
• Collaboration and Agile Delivery: Work with the Tech Area Owner, Product Area Owner, designers and developers to clarify requirements and define testable acceptance criteria, giving early feedback during refinement and taking part in sprint ceremonies;
• Test Automation (Plus): Contribute to automated test suites in Testim, starting from the most critical regression scenarios, and support their integration into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications;
• Solid working knowledge of a recognized testing standard such as ISTQB, and structured test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, state transition);
• Practical experience managing test cases, plans, runs and reporting in TestRail;
• Rigorous approach to defect identification, reproduction and prioritization, using tools such as Jira;
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools such as Postman for backend and integration verification;
• Familiarity with test automation, in particular Testim, is a plus and an area of growth within the role; exposure to Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Maestro, CI/CD awareness, basic scripting/SQL, and ISTQB certification are all a plus.
