Role Overview:

As a Backend Developer at Deliverect, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services that optimize restaurant operations, manage orders from multiple channels, and ensure platform scalability and reliability to handle high volumes of data and requests.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services related to order management, restaurant integrations, and data processing.
• Implement testing strategies including unit and integration tests to ensure quality and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with API and front-end developers for seamless integration.
• Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs for communication with various clients.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support sales processes and customer needs.
• Propose improvements to architecture, coding practices, and processes.
• Engage in Agile practices like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Optimize backend code for efficiency and scalability.
• Adhere to security best practices to protect data.

Minimum Requirements:

• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with APIs and web services.
• Strong knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with web frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Experience with Git, RESTful API documentation, and software design principles.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and data warehousing is preferred.
