Job Summary

This person will be responsible for IT Release Management, change management, infrastructure upgrade project management, major incident management, environment management, deployment management, refresh management, and information security compliance for global IT enterprise applications at Equinix. The project involves working with various IT teams to manage security patching of operating systems (OS), databases, and applications as part of Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM).

Responsibilities

1. Partner with Scrum and system teams to create awareness of deployment priorities and schedules across environments, ensuring focus on high-priority technical and business features.
2. Use agile methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major releases, weekly patches, and daily changes.
3. Optimize and improve processes and methodologies, review with stakeholders, and implement agreed changes.
4. Lead implementation of process changes, change management cycles, testing, deployment, and support planning.
5. Review test, deployment, and support plans for completeness and clarity; communicate plans effectively to stakeholders; lead release management teams and critical escalations.
6. Define the annual release schedule and a global release plan aligned with specific projects.
7. Conduct release readiness, milestone, and go/no-go reviews; lead and coordinate go-live activities, including deployment execution; maintain knowledge of release engineering systems and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps/CI-CD processes (Jenkins, Kubernetes, GitHub).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with automated release management applications and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, DevOps, and technical project management (TPM).
• Proficiency in English.
