THE WORK

1. Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes and Istio infrastructure on AWS.
2. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
3. Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
4. Collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and developer experience.
5. Partner with security teams to embed security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
6. Automate release, rollback, and disaster recovery processes to ensure system reliability.
7. Create documentation and processes to share system knowledge organization-wide.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

1. 5+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Istio, AWS, Terraform, and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
2. Proven ability to utilize cloud services and open-source software to achieve business goals.
3. Experience automating release management, disaster recovery, and build/test automation.
4. Strong understanding of security best practices and collaboration with security teams.
5. Successful track record of building scalable systems and working cross-functionally.
6. Experience delivering reliable, stable products across multiple platforms.
