R.J.Crocker Consultants Pte Ltd in Brazil, Região Norte seeks a capable civil/structural project manager to assist in day-to-day contract management on viaducts, flyovers, or tunnels. You will supervise site teams, enforce quality and safety, and coordinate with contractors to resolve non-conformances.

The role requires a degree in civil/structural engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with planning software. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Min Degree in Civil & Structural engineering.
• Experience in viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel projects is required.
• Proficient with planning and project management software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager in day-to-day management of the contract.
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on-site quality and safety issues.
• Determine any non-conformances on works.
• Liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly.
• Ensure that decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety.
• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggests quality improvement measures for implementation on site.
• Supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation.
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Civil & Structural engineering
• Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work
• Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills
• Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.
