JCVL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced on-site Project Manager to oversee day-to-day contract management, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and program while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The role involves advising on-site quality issues, identifying non-conformances, and coordinating with the contractor to rectify them. Ideal candidates will have civil/structural engineering education, at least 2 years of viaduct/flyover or tunnel project experience, and

Qualificações

• Min Degree in Civil & Structural engineering.
• Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment.
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work.
• Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in day-to-day management of the contract as Assist Principal/ Senior Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Advise on-site quality and safety issues.
• Determine non-conformances on works and liaise with the Contractor to rectify them.
• Ensure decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor in a timely manner.
• Ensure works comply with specifications, drawings and programme without compromising quality and safety.
• Provide feedback on quality and safety matters and suggest improvements for on-site implementation.
• Supervise the installation and monitoring of instrumentation and lead a team of supervisors for full-time site supervision.
• Assist in operating the PMCC.

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on-site quality and safety issues
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggests quality improvement measures for implementation on site
