Job summary

R.J.Crocker Consultants Pte Ltd seeks a Site Supervision professional to oversee civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with Authority requirements. You will coordinate with contractors and agencies, supervise precast fabrication and lifting, and oversee safety, environmental and health matters on site.

You will assist in operating PMCC and support senior project management in day-to-day activities, resolving non-conformances and ensuring quality and timely delivery of works.

Qualifications

• Min diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS).
• Eligible to apply for an RTO (Resident Technical Officer) certificate under Institution of Engineers, Singapore.
• Site/work safety certifications would be an advantage.
• Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment.
• Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.
• Contractor site work experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and inspection to ensure Contractor(s) comply with Authority's and agencies' requirements.
• Supervise all works, including Civil and architectural works, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, road works and utilities diversion.
• Coordinate with contractor(s) and relevant agencies/site partners for the work.
• Supervise fabrication of precast concrete and steel structural elements on site and off site.
• Supervise lifting operations to erect precast concrete elements.
• Inspect and assist in issuance of E-Token for soil disposal.
• Review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation.
• Verify and check quantity of work done for progress payment.
• Provide other services required.
• Assist in operating of Project Monitoring Control Centre (PMCC).
• Assist PRPM/SPM/PM in day-to-day management of the contract.
• Advise PRPM/SPM/PM on-site quality and safety issues.
• Determine any non-conformances on works.
• Liaise with the Contractor to rectify non-conformances and document them properly.
• Ensure on-site decisions are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ensure works are carried out per specifications, drawings and programme with quality and safety.
• Provide feedback to PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety and suggest improvements.
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation.
• Lead a team of supervisors for full-time on-site supervision.
