Job Description: Product Owner

ScrumLaunch is a Los Angeles based product innovation studio. We work with leading brands and high growth startups to design and build great products. We specialize in web and mobile software applications that can scale to millions of users. Customer centric design and development is our DNA.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product ownership experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Software development (Web & Mobile projects)
• Business-oriented mindset suited to product management
• Practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and eXtreme Programming (XP)
• Experience in project estimation and task prioritization under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Web and Mobile technologies
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, JIRA, etc.
• Advanced English proficiency
• Availability to communicate with customers in PST/EST time zones

Responsibilities:

• Initiate new projects and implement efficient project management processes
• Identify project needs by interviewing stakeholders
• Create project and task requirements
• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Manage and prioritize the project backlog
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis
• Manage project teams (Design, Development, QA)
• Contribute to improving project management processes
• Balance project scope and timeline to deliver optimal solutions
• Resolve issues and conflicts effectively
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Meet and exceed client expectations
• Onboard and train new team members
