Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Python + AWS) to drive API architecture and data products for partner-facing services. You will stay hands-on while guiding engineers and architecture decisions across teams in a fully remote setting.

You will lead design decisions for SaaS offerings on AWS, apply serverless and DevOps practices, and mentor engineers to promote strong design practices across the organization. Advanced English is required.

• Experience designing partner-facing APIs with versioning and authentication.
• Track record delivering SaaS or API-as-a-Service products.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience with Python and either C#/.NET or Java.
• Background designing partner‑facing APIs, including versioning, authentication, and rate limiting.
• Track record delivering SaaS or API‑as‑a‑Service products.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly on AWS (Azure or GCP also welcome).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, and API gateways.
• Advanced level of English.
