Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Python Engineer to design APIs and services powering a product used by millions of collectors. This hands-on role requires full ownership from design to deployment and collaboration with product and design teams to deliver customer-focused systems at scale.

You will work on backend services on AWS, design data models with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and build infrastructure as code to ensure repeatable deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway) experience.
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Infrastructure as code with CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Principal Python Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you’ll design the APIs and services that power the web and mobile experiences of a product used by millions of collectors. This is a hands‑on position where your full ownership, from design through deployment, directly shapes how customers interact with the platform.
