Job summary

At BairesDev, a global technology leader, we are seeking a Principal Backend Engineer (Python) to shape scalable backend architectures for products serving millions of users.

You will own complete features end-to-end, design microservices, and drive infrastructure as code while collaborating with product and design teams and maintaining high standards of software craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway) experience.
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend architecture on AWS serverless infrastructure.

In this role, you'll shape the backend architecture behind products serving millions of collectors worldwide. This is a hands‑on leadership position where your architectural decisions directly determine how well the platform scales as the business grows.
