Job Description:

The Marketing Cloud Account Executive sells cloud-based marketing products into the Manufacturing Industry. As an Account Executive in Enterprise Sales within the Marketing Cloud sales team, you will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned region. You will work in partnership with existing account owners and carry quota for Marketing Cloud product sales to drive revenue growth.

Day-to-day:
  • Winning mainly net new Marketing Cloud business revenue within Enterprise Business accounts according to the business plan.
  • Developing partnerships in the partner ecosystem to drive new business.
  • Ability to do an initial demonstration of Marketing Cloud capabilities.
  • Positioning Marketing Cloud products and services to enhance customer impact.
  • Negotiating and creating product and service orders, contract addendums, and renewals.
  • Managing and developing existing contacts and creating ambassadors.
  • Providing weekly accurate forecasts to sales management.
  • Creating business plans in collaboration with the extended team to drive net new revenue and ensure customer success.
Requirements:
  • A proven sales hunter and closer.
  • 6+ years of outside enterprise software sales experience.
  • Experience selling Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong preference for digital marketing (MarTech / AdTech) sales experience.
  • Passionate about customer success and teaming with the extended team.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and maintain good pricing.
  • Proven success working with executives, VP, and ‘C’ level stakeholders.
  • Ability and proven experience with strategic thinking and managing complex processes.
