Senior Software Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Brazil, Peru, Chile, or Argentina (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 USD annually

LMK Recruiting Solutions is conducting a search on behalf of a fast-growing, venture-backed FinTech company on a mission to modernize outdated infrastructure and streamline complex financial processes. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a startup environment and is excited to help shape the core product and architecture of a rapidly scaling platform.

This role is fully remote, and candidates must be located in Brazil, Peru, Chile, or Argentina.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of scalable backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and design to build features that directly impact users.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and overall technical strategy.
• Own and improve the reliability, performance, and security of key systems.
• Maintain high engineering standards and mentor junior developers when needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startups or FinTech environments is a plus.
• Solid understanding of API design, data structures, and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first culture.
