Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Platform Architect to design, operate, and continuously improve our cloud platform. This is largely an individual contributor role with one other team member and customer stakeholders involved.

You will own end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle, build VDI/EUC solutions on major clouds, and drive automation with Terraform and GitHub Actions. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential, with growth to multi-cloud expansion including Azure and GCP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cloud native development and platform design.
• Experience leading platform engineering for VDI/EUC.
• Strong hands-on with Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the cloud platform architecture to support current and future business requirements.
• Own the end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, decommissioning, drift detection, and operational hygiene.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including remote state via HCP.
• Architect, deploy, and support VDI/EUC solutions on major clouds or on-prem stacks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions for infrastructure deployment and operations.
• Collaborate with one other team member and customer stakeholders to align platform decisions and priorities.
• Support roadmap expansion, including bare-metal devices and cloud expansion into Azure and GCP.
• Explore AI-driven operational workflows and automation integration.

We are seeking a Platform Architect to design, operate, and continuously improve the cloud platform. This is a primarily individual contributor role that requires strong ownership and the ability to work independently while collaborating with one other team member and customer stakeholders. We are looking for strong Cloud VDI / End-User Computing (EUC) experience on any major hyperscaler or enterprise VDI stack, such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware/Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Amazon WorkSpaces, or Workspot.
