Jobtailor is seeking a Purchasing Planning professional in São Paulo, Brazil, to build and steer the end-to-end planning function. The role focuses on aligning purchasing with revenue, margin, and cash flow targets while developing OTB curves by category and monitoring stock performance.

Responsibilities include analyzing historical sales, defining allocation parameters, building dashboards, and leading cross-functional review meetings with teams across merchandising, finance, and operations.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Admin, Econ, Stats, Engineering).
Solid experience in Planning, Commercial Planning or Product Financial Planning in retail.
Strong numerical, quantitative analysis and inventory financial control skills.
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
Experience at major fashion/retailers preferred.
Knowledge of apparel and footwear planning preferred.
Experience building/structuring a planning function from the ground up (preferred).
Familiarity with AI and BI tools in forecasting and analytics (preferred).
Based in São Paulo, SP (preferred).

Responsabilidades

Develop and implement the Purchasing Planning function from the ground up.
Develop, monitor, and update Open-to-Buy (OTB) curves by category.
Monitor daily inventory indicators: turnover, coverage, capital turnover, stockouts.
Identify inventory bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
Analyze historical sales data to project future demand by category.
Define initial allocation and replenishment parameters.
Collaborate with Senior Product Manager on bets, markdowns, and plan adjustments.
Create performance monitoring dashboards.
Lead regular results-tracking meetings with cross-functional teams.

Develop, monitor, and update Open-to-Buy (OTB) curves by category, aligning purchasing with revenue, margin, and cash flow targets
Monitor daily inventory indicators, including stock turnover, coverage, capital turnover, and stockouts/sell-outs
Identify inventory bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
Analyze historical sales data, seasonality, and trends to project future demand by category and subcategory
Define initial allocation and replenishment parameters
Work with the Senior Product Manager to make decisions regarding commercial bets, cuts, markdowns, and purchasing plan adjustments
Create performance monitoring dashboards
Lead regular results-tracking meetings with cross-functional teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Production Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
Solid experience in Planning, Commercial Planning, or Product Financial Planning within the retail sector
Strong numerical, quantitative analysis, modeling, and inventory financial control skills, with no focus on direct supplier negotiations or purchasing
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
Structured logical reasoning for building reports and performance indicators
Previous experience at major fashion, apparel, and footwear retailers, such as Renner, Riachuelo, C&A, or Centauro (preferred)
Knowledge and experience in planning for apparel and footwear/sneaker categories (preferred)
Proven track record of structuring or implementing a planning function from the ground up (preferred)
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and BI tools applied to demand forecasting, operational efficiency, and data analysis (preferred)
Based in São Paulo, SP (preferred)
