Responsabilidades

• Load and unload vehicles following removal and packaging instructions.
• Organize goods in the warehouse according to distribution routes and packing instructions.
• Pick up packages at customers' addresses, following loading and stowage rules and packing list specs.
• Load collected packages and obtain customer signatures on pickup documents.
• Deliver packages and organize volumes in customer warehouses; ensure delivery documents are completed properly.
• Assist in completing related paperwork and manifests accurately and on time.
• Inform the Cargo Clerk (Handler II) about losses and damages.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and handling equipment in good condition.
• Operate mechanized equipment for more than 50% of the time worked.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

General Job Description

Under general guidance completed the following responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading vehicles observing instructions for removal and packaging of volumes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Organize goods in the warehouse according to the distribution routes observing packing instructions.
• Execute the pick-up of packages at customers address, observing the loading and stowage rules, packing list specifications.
• Execute the loading of the collected packages and ask the customer to stamp and sign the pickup documents.
• Execute the delivery of packages, organize the volumes in the customer's warehouses and ask the customer to fill in the following requires in the delivery documents.
• Assists in completing all related paperwork and manifests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Inform the Cargo Clerk (Handler II) regarding all the losses and damages.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and handling equipment in an adequate state of use.
• Maintain warehouse within established organization and conservation standards.
• Operates mechanized equipment for over 50% of the total time worked.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education

• Elementary School Diploma
• Valid driver license when required if operating equipment

Minimum Experience

• No previous experience required. Three (3) months FedEx handler experience preferred.

Minimum Required Skills

• Great verbal and written communication skills, organization, good personal relationship, dynamic and creative.
• Flexible time required.
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Able to lift 75 Lbs.
• Must be able to maneuver packages of weights up to 150 Lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Clerical experience including typing and/or general office administration duties preferred.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Safety sensitive.
