Lever, Inc. is seeking a Junior Java Developer based in Brazil to join a financial services technology team. The role focuses on backend development with Java and Spring Boot 3, plus JavaScript/TypeScript, API development, testing, and databases.

You will work with a collaborative team to design, implement, and deliver reliable software while considering business impact and client needs. Remote across Brazil with Campinas attendance as required.

Qualificações

• Professional experience developing applications with Java, including Spring Boot 3.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript 4+.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, OOP, SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI.
• Practical knowledge of automated testing.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systems mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
• Focus on code quality, maintainability, reliability, and business alignment.
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical skills.
• Frontend development experience is a plus.
• Candidates must be based in Brazil; Campinas area may require local office attendance.
