Qualificações

• Forte proficiência em Java e experiência na construção de software em produção.
• Experiência com Docker, Git, serviços REST e SQL.
• Experiência prática com serviços AWS e desenvolvimento de aplicações em nuvem.
• Conhecimento de Terraform e práticas CI/CD.
• Experiência com sistemas de mensagens e arquiteturas orientadas a dados.
• Experiência em desenvolvimento com microserviços.
• Compreensão de conceitos e ferramentas de observabilidade.
• Experiência em ambientes de desenvolvimento ágil.
• Familiaridade com ferramentas de IA aplicadas ao desenvolvimento de software.

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver e manter novas features e serviços principalmente em Java, com oportunidades de Kotlin e Golang, quando aplicável.
• Construir e manter pipelines de CI/CD usando Terraform e Bitbucket.
• Desenvolver e manter aplicações e infraestrutura em nuvem na AWS.
• Contribuir para a definição e evolução de arquiteturas de software que suportam fluxos de pagamentos.
• Auxiliar na melhoria da observabilidade, monitoramento e confiabilidade operacional.
• Trabalhar com a equipe em arquiteturas de sistemas orientadas a dados e soluções de messaging.
• Contribuir para o desenvolvimento e evolução de aplicações baseadas em microserviços.
• Compartilhar conhecimento técnico e boas práticas com a equipe.
• Utilizar ferramentas de IA para acelerar codificação, revisões de código, automação e atividades diárias de engenharia.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Java Pleno based in Brazil.

This is a remote opportunity for a mid-level software engineer working on scalable, cloud-based applications and payment solutions.
You will contribute to the evolution of systems built primarily with Java, while helping modernize and simplify a diverse technology environment.
The role combines backend development, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, messaging, and data-driven architectures.
You will collaborate with an agile engineering team to design reliable services and contribute to architectural decisions.
There is also a strong focus on knowledge sharing, automation, and using AI tools to accelerate everyday development workflows.
Your work will directly support the evolution, reliability, and scalability of applications in a technology-focused environment.
The position offers an opportunity to broaden your expertise across software engineering, cloud technologies, and modern development practices.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain new features and services primarily using Java, with opportunities to work with Kotlin and, where applicable, Golang.

• Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines using Terraform and Bitbucket.

• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure on AWS.

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of software architectures supporting payment-related workflows.

• Help improve application observability, monitoring, and operational reliability.

• Work with the team on data-driven system architectures and messaging solutions.

• Contribute to the development and evolution of microservices-based applications.

• Share technical knowledge, development practices, and lessons learned with other team members.

• Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, code reviews, automation, and day-to-day engineering activities.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and professional experience developing production software.

• Experience with Docker, Git, REST services, and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development.

• Knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with messaging systems and data-driven architectures.

• Experience developing and working with microservices.

• Understanding of observability concepts and tools.

• Experience working in agile software development environments.

• Familiarity with AI tools applied to software development.

• Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Nice to have: Experience with Node.js/Lambda, Golang, React, or microservices projects.

• Nice to have: Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, SQS, and Route 53.
