Você planejará estratégias de teste, identificará riscos, criará e manterá testes manuais e automatizados (Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework) e explorará IA para tornar a automação mais autônoma, trabalhando próximo das equipes de desenvolvimento para melhorar processos e qualidade.

Qualifications

• Experiência prática em testes manuais e automatizados.
• Conhecimento de ferramentas de automação (Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework).
• Experiência com API testing via Postman.
• Conhecimento de BDD com Gherkin.
• Interesse em aplicar IA para automação de testes.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Analista de Qualidade de Software - Pleno based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to shape software quality from the earliest stages of development, combining prevention, strategy, and hands-on testing.
You will help anticipate risks, identify potential impacts, and ensure solutions are delivered with quality, security, and efficiency.
The position balances strategic quality planning with the execution of manual and automated testing across different levels of the software lifecycle.
You will work with functional, regression, exploratory, integration, API, performance, and end-to-end testing while continuously expanding automation coverage.
The role also encourages the use of Artificial Intelligence to make testing more autonomous, efficient, and less dependent on repetitive manual activities.
You will collaborate closely with development and cross-functional teams, contributing to continuous improvements in processes, tools, architecture, and quality practices.

Accountabilities:

• Plan comprehensive test strategies and scenarios based on product requirements, system architecture, business rules, and potential risks, ensuring quality considerations are addressed from the beginning of projects.
• Identify risks, potential failures, and downstream impacts early in the development lifecycle, helping teams prevent defects rather than relying solely on post-development detection.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests covering functional, regression, exploratory, usability, integration, API, performance, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools, continuously expanding test coverage and reducing repetitive manual activities.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools such as Cursor to support the creation, maintenance, optimization, and evolution of automated tests.
• Explore AI-enabled approaches for automated and autonomous test execution, identifying opportunities to make quality processes more efficient and scalable.
• Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and perform validation and regression testing after fixes are implemented.
• Work closely with software development and other cross-functional teams to embed quality practices into solution design, implementation, and delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, methodologies, and testing practices, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, testing methodologies, and AI-powered solutions applicable to Software Quality Assurance.
• Balance strategic quality planning with hands-on execution of day-to-day testing activities, maintaining ownership of quality outcomes across the software lifecycle.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA), with solid experience across both manual and automated testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing, including regression, exploratory, usability, integration, and performance testing.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests using tools such as Cypress with JavaScript, Robot Framework with Python, or Selenium with Python.
• Knowledge of Postman for API testing and BDD principles, including Gherkin for defining clear and structured test scenarios.
• Familiarity with Cursor and other Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development and test automation.
• Demonstrated interest in using AI to reduce manual activities, improve test automation, and increase the autonomy and efficiency of quality processes.
• Strong holistic, systemic, and preventive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and identify potential issues in software architecture and solutions.
• Ability to operate across both strategic quality planning and hands-on execution of testing activities.
• Intermediate knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with working in collaborative software development environments.
• Analytical, proactive, and collaborative profile, with strong attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Strong interest in innovation, emerging technologies, automation, and the practical application of AI to Software Quality.
• Completed higher education is preferred, particularly in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related technology field.
